I always loved her essay on &qu...This is beautiful! I always loved her essay on "The King of the Birds." I visited her farm in Milledgeville a couple of years ago, and it was so moving to see peacock feathers from some of her original birds. There were live peacocks and peahens out in the yard, but I think they are later additions. <br /><br />Have you read "The Displaced Person"? Lots of birds in that story!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
